⭐️ It’s been an interesting 24-hours, but I’m feeling great you all, I have horrible nausea from the anesthesia — but overall not in terrible pain.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🤓 Thank you all for the love and support throughout my journey these last four weeks or so. I’ve received so much encouragement and sweet messages from everyone and it’s so appreciated. 💓
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
➡️ Yesterday went well overall. The staff was amazing and my mom came to visit to help with the kids. 👏🏾 👏🏾 shout out to her and my entire family for checking on us.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
💚 I’m reminded of this quote I dreamt up last week, “practice on low tides, so you can ride the big waves when they come because they will come.”
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🌊 Honestly, all the practice I’ve put in on my low tides, before this injury — regular workouts, eating well, mentally prepping — for this moment. Everything that came before this, helped me now. So I encourage you all to practice on the low tides.

Now tell me, how do you practice on low-tides to prep for the big waves in your life? I’d love to hear from you in the comments. ⤵️ Save this to review and remember later. 📌
