⭐️ It’s been an interesting 24-hours, but I’m feeling great you all, I have horrible nausea from the anesthesia — but overall not in terrible pain.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🤓 Thank you all for the love and support⁣ throughout my journey these last four weeks or so. I’ve received so much encouragement and sweet messages from everyone and it’s so appreciated. 💓
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
➡️ Yesterday went well overall. The staff was amazing and my mom came to visit to help with the kids. 👏🏾 👏🏾 shout out to her and my entire family for checking on us.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
💚 I’m reminded of this quote I dreamt up last week, “practice on low tides, so you can ride the big waves when they come because they will come.”
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🌊 Honestly, all the practice I’ve put in on my low tides, before this injury — regular workouts, eating well, mentally prepping — for this moment. Everything that came before this, helped me now. So I encourage you all to practice on the low tides.

⭐️ Know your values & live them
⭐️ Go for walks/workout
⭐️ Read books regularly
⭐️ Be kind to yourself
⭐️ Get fresh air
⭐️ Eat well

Now tell me, how do you practice on low-tides to prep for the big waves in your life? I’d love to hear from you in the comments. ⤵️ Save this to review and remember later. 📌
